Now it's time to capture your best whip on video and participate in the July Whip-Off video contest! Post your video on Instagram according to the instructions below, and you'll have a chance to win a €100 gift card to Hi5Bikes.
Video Contest Prizes
- A €100 gift card to Hi5Bikes for the winners in both the youth and adult categories.
Rules and Participation
- Record a whip (just one) with you as the main focus!
- The maximum video length is 90 seconds.
- Post the video on Instagram on Friday, August 2, between 12:00 PM and 12:00 AM, using the tags @redbullsuomi #redbullfullmoon @hi5bikes.fi @mtbrallycom. If the video is longer than 15 seconds, also post it as a Reel and add the beginning of the video to your Story. This helps the judges find your entire video easily!
- Add a tag in your Story indicating your category: #MTBRallyWhipOffU18 or #MTBRallyWhipOffO18, depending on your age group. The latter is for those over 18!
Judging
Videos will be judged and scored on Saturday, August 3. Winners will be announced in this article and on the MTB Rally Instagram account. The judging panel will consist of an impartial jury from MTB Rally, including six Future Champs juniors, a few knowledgeable adults, and a pro rider from our partner!
Whip-Off competitions await you in late summer 2024!
The first Whip-Off competition by MTB Rally and Red Bull Fullmoon will be held at Sappee Bikefest. Participate in Sappee and Tornikeskus at the end of September. Registration for the physical competitions is already open. All MTB enthusiasts are welcome—no need to be a pro, just enjoy jumping on your bike. July is an excellent time to practice and record videos for participation!
At the physical competitions at bike parks
A special jump will be built at Sappee for this competition, and Tornikeskus will feature the season's largest jump! There's plenty of time for practice, so go for it! The top three will be awarded genuine medals, which will undoubtedly be cherished memories, as the medals come directly from Red Bull! Red Bull car, DJ, products, etc., will be present at the physical competitions.
